Standard Jersey Heifer, “Daisy aka Moose”
When we started our adventure into dairy cows, we obtained a fantastic heifer from SC named Gertrude. She gave us a few wonderful calves and was our primary milk source for a few years. We decided to add to our herd and purchased our girl “Moose” from the NC State Dairy Program. She has proved to produce enough milk to keep us happy 🙂 We sold Gertrude and one of her heifer calves to another local homestead to be their primary milk source!
